CDW announced October 28th 2008 it would be partnering with Chase Paymentech to provide CDW Store-in-a-Truck tm to its partners. Thus allowing for POS and retail solution to come together easier. CDW also suffering from the financial disaster in the credit markets is likely to create new revenues from the partnership. The new partnership will eliminate erroneous fees charges by other Merchant banks helping CDW customers save money.
The addition of POS systems integrated with Chase Paymentech lends it’s self to CDW’s offering. Having generated 8.1 billion in sales in 2008 the move with Chase will help secure additional funds for CDW. Greg Schaub, executive vice president, Business Development at Chase Paymentech Solution was quoted as saying "This complements CDW's well-earned reputation for helping small businesses. We look forward to the opportunity to deliver our knowledge and expertise in payment processing to CDW's retail customers."
Ranked as 39 on Forbes list of America’s Largest Companies, CDW’s dedicated account representatives will have a new ally in helping small businesses with lowering their business costs and providing complete retail POS solutions. CDW is also adding Technology specialists and Merchant Services to their staff believe it or not someone is hiring or at least will be able to retain more of its staff during tuff economic uncertainty.
